Hiking and mountaineering

Our location at the Kronplatz is ideal to start your hiking tours in the South Tyrolean mountains. Whether you prefer to take it easy or are a true trekking professional, the selection of tours will delight you. Discover the fabulous Dolomites, the picturesque Antholzer Valley, the imposing Tauferer Ahrntal Valley with its 3,000m peaks, the original Val Badia with the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park and many other enchanting places in the Puster Valley. Reischach is an ideal starting point, because within in a radius of about 20 kilometers you will find the most beautiful hiking routes of the Puster Valley. Of course, the Kronplatz itself is a wonderful hiking area, which offers you a fantastic panorama. You will not forget your holiday at Kronplatz!

Cycling, mountain biking & downhill

Cyclists will also get their money's worth: the Puster Valley Cycle Route meets the Ahrntal Cycle Route in Bruneck, so you can cycle from Mühlbach to Lienz and from Bruneck to Sand in Taufers and further on to Kasern. Trained mountain bikers will find plenty of alpine terrains and passes in the immediate vicinity and for downhill riders there are 6 different freeride routes at the Kronplatz.

Climbing

There are impressive climbing gardens in the wild nature in Aufhofen, St. Lorenzen or Sand in Taufers (5-15 km away). But not only sport climbers will enjoy it. Alpine climbing routes and "via ferratas" stretch through the Dolomites and the Ahrntal mountains. The latter offer exciting combinations of mountaineering, glacier tours and free climbing.

Golfing, horseback riding, swimming

2 minutes by foot from our house you will find the Reischach sports area with a 9-hole golf course, riding stables, indoor and outdoor swimming pool (up to 75% discount for our guests).

Rafting, Kayaking & Canyoning

Adventure seekers will get their money's worth in the Puster Valley. The Rienz, but also the Ahr, are ideal rivers for rafting and kayaking trips and the gorge-rich landscape around the Rienz is a special highlight for canyoning tours.

Zip Lining

There are two zip line routes around Bruneck:

On Europe's longest zip line, adrenaline junkies race down the woods of St Vigil to the valley. On a length of 3.2 kilometers, it reaches up to 80 km/h over ten stages down to the Badia valley.
Directly at the Reinbach waterfalls above Sand in Taufers, a fly-line meanders through the quiet, fragrant forest. Slowly, quietly and effortlessly you will float past the trees and listen to the sounds of the waterfalls and chirping birds. A nature experience for young and old.
